My name is Gregg Bush. I have lived in Columbia for 18 years and have loved every minute of it. Seeing the amazing community here and all the opportunities afforded to my 3 kids, I know Columbia is worth fighting for. As a nurse, I know what care means and I promise to care for Columbia as someone with a heart, head and spine to stand up for us.
I am excited to get down to Jeff City and be an advocate for healthcare professionals and their patients in all of my legislative pursuits. That is my number one priority, followed closely by protecting working families and our public schools.
We need someone with a head, to be knowledgeable about their fields, a heart, someone with empathy to their constituents first, and a spine to stand up against extremist attacks against our rights.
I began my healthcare career as a janitor in the ICU. I worked through nursing school and it is why I am who I am today. It's not my first job, but it was my first job on my journey to being a nurse.
I am the only Union endorsed candidate in House District 50. SEIU Mo-Kan, which supports service industry workers and LiUNA 955 were the first to endorse. Since then I have received a gun sense candidate distinction from Moms Demand Action and a Mental Health and certified with Mental Health Now as a Mental Health Candidate.

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
