Harold Maurice Kennedy (1895-1971) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. He joined the court in 1944 after an appointment from Franklin Delano Roosevelt. At the time of appointment, he was the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York. He resigned on September 30, 1952.[1] Kennedy passed away on July 1, 1971.

Eastern District of New York

Kennedy was nominated by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on September 1, 1944, to a seat vacated by Marcus Beach Campbell; he was confirmed by the Senate on September 20, 1944, and received commission on September 22nd. He resigned on September 30, 1952.[1] Kennedy was succeeded in this position by Walter Bruchhausen.
