Herbert Frazier Murray (1923-1999) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.[1]

Murray was nominated by President Richard Nixon on July 19, 1971, to a seat vacated by Roszel Thomsen; he was confirmed by the Senate on July 29, 1971, and received commission that same day. He assumed senior status on December 31, 1988, and served in that capacity until his death on July 12, 1999.[1] Murray was succeeded in this position by William M. Nickerson.
