Iowa

Iowa, a Midwestern state, is landlocked by the Mississippi River, the Missouri River, Wisconsin, Illinois, South Dakota, Missouri, Nebraska and Minnesota. It is nicknamed "the Hawkeye State” and is the 30th most populous of the 50 United States. Iowa's capital and largest city is Des Moines.

Iowa has two members of the U.S. Senate, a total of four members of the U.S. House of Representatives, 50 members of the State Senate and 100 members of the Iowa House of Representatives.
