James Rogers Miller, Jr. (1931-2014) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.[1]

Miller was nominated by President Richard Nixon on September 28, 1970, to a new seat created by 84 Stat. 294; he was confirmed by the Senate on October 13, 1970, and received commission two days later. He resigned on December 1, 1986.[1] Miller was succeeded in this position by Frederic Smalkin. Miller passed away on June 25, 2014.[2]
