Jennifer A. Henry is a judge for the Suffolk County District Court in Suffolk County, New York.[1] She was elected to the court in 2008 and was sworn into office on January 5, 2009.[2][3]

Henry was re-elected to the court on November 4, 2014, for a term that expires on December 31, 2020.[4]

Henry ran for re-election to the Suffolk County District Court.
General: She faced Pierce Cohalan and incumbent Judge William G. Ford in the general election on November 4, 2014, and won with 45.8 percent of the vote. Candidates competed for two open seats. [4][5] 

Education

Henry received her undergraduate degree from the California State University at Sacramento and her J.D. degree from the Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center.[6]

Career

Before she became a judge, Henry served as a court attorney referee for the Suffolk County Supreme Court law department in Riverhead, New York. She also previously served as an assistant district attorney for Suffolk County and as an associate village judge in Babylon, New York.[2]
