John Rolly Ross (1899-1963) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Nevada.

Ross was nominated by President Dwight Eisenhower on May 3, 1954, to a seat created by 68 Stat. 8. He was confirmed by the Senate on May 13th, and received his commission on May 15th. From 1961 to 1963, he was the chief judge. He served until his death on April 22, 1963. Ross was succeeded in this position by Bruce Thompson.
