Education

John C. Ruck was a judge of the 14th Circuit Court in Muskegon County, Michigan. He was first appointed to this court by former Governor John Engler on June 19, 1996 to replace retired Judge Ronald Pannucci and was later was re-elected in 1998, 2002 and 2008.[1][2][3] His six-year term would have ended on January 1, 2015, but he retired on March 31, 2013.[4][5][6]

Education

Ruck received both his B.S. and J.D. (1967) degrees from Valparaiso University.[1]

Career

Ruck became a private practice lawyer after law school. He practiced in Muskegon County for over 25 years. At the time of his appointment to the circuit court in 1996, he was working for the law firm of Williams, Ruck, Hughes, Corwin & Sininger.[1]
