Joseph Cross (1843-1913) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
He was nominated by President Theodore Roosevelt on March 13, 1905 to fill a new seat which was created by 33 Stat. 987. He was confirmed by the Senate on March 17, 1905, and received commission that same day. He served until his death on October 29, 1913.[1] Cross was succeeded in this position by Thomas Griffith Haight.
