Joseph Samuel Perry (1896-1984) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Perry was nominated by President Harry Truman on July 13, 1951, to a seat vacated by Elwyn Shaw; he was confirmed by the Senate on August 21, 1951, and received his commission on August 23rd. He assumed senior status on November 29, 1971. He served the Northern District of Illinois until his death on February 18, 1984.[1] Perry was succeeded in this position by William Bauer.
