Mac Schneider (Democratic Party) was a member of the North Dakota State Senate, representing District 42. He assumed office in 2008. He left office in 2016.
Schneider (Democratic Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent North Dakota's At-Large Congressional District. He lost in the general election on November 6, 2018.
Schneider is a former Democratic member of the North Dakota State Senate, representing District 42 from 2008 to 2016.
Schneider served as minority leader from 2012 to 2016. Schneider served as assistant minority leader in the 2011-2012 legislative session.
Biography
Schneider earned his B.A. in history from the University of North Dakota in 2002 and his J.D. from Georgetown University. His professional experience includes working as a staff member for former U.S. Rep. Early Pomeroy (D) and as a practicing attorney.[1]

2012
Schneider ran in the 2012 election for North Dakota Senate District 42. Schneider ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on June 12. He defeated Ross Lien (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[6][7]
2008
On November 4, 2008, Schneider was elected to the 44th District Seat in the North Dakota State Senate, besting Nate Martindale (R).[8] Schneider raised $16,175 for his campaign, while Martindale raised $14,775.[9]
