Jose L. Dotres is the superintendent of Miami-Dade County Public Schools. He took on the role on February 14, 2022. Dotres previously worked as a deputy superintendent for Collier County Public Schools.[1][2]

Past superintendents

Alberto M. Carvalho was the superintendent of Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Carvalho was appointed superintendent in September 2008. Carvalho's previous career experience included working as a physics teacher.[3]
