Michael L. Dwyer is a judge for the Oneida County Court in New York and the supervising judge of the 5th Judicial District Justice Courts. He has served on the County Court since 1996, following his election. He was re-elected in 2005 and 2015. He was appointed supervising judge in 2007.[1]

Education

Dwyer received his B.A. from St. Lawrence University (1976) and his J.D. from St. John's University School of Law.[1]

Career

Dwyer began his career in 1980 as an Oneida County District Attorney. He worked in that capacity through 1995, after which, he joined the Oneida County Court. He was appointed a supervising judge in 2007.[1]
