Superior
Carrie Lemke, a member of the city council in Superior, Nebraska, faced recall. Four city council members were originally targeted for recall, but signatures were only submitted and verified on Lemke's recall petition. The recall effort was launched after the introduction of Superior's controversial "nuisance abatement program," which officials claimed was intended to get rid of nuisance properties and houses that were poorly maintained. Some city residents saw the program as a violation of privacy.[1]

- Recall efforts against Jay Vavricek of Grand Island, and Patrick Duncan and Jerry Archer of Franklin County failed to make the ballot.
- Kelvin Wurdeman, a member of the Wayne County Commission, was the subject of a recall election scheduled for November 20.[2]
