Paul J. Baisley, Jr. is a justice of the 10th Judicial District in Suffolk County, New York. He was elected to this position in 1998 and re-elected in 2011. [1][2][3]

Baisley ran successfully for re-election to the New York Supreme Court 10th Judicial District on November 8. He received 10.63% of the vote, securing one of the 10 positions on the ballot for that court.[4][3]
Education
Baisley received his B.A. degree from Dickinson College in 1976 and his J.D. degree from the New York Law School in 1979.[1]
Career
Baisley began his career in 1983 as an assistant in the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office. In 1984, he became a Bureau Chief of this office. He then worked as a private practice lawyer from 1987 to 1994. In 1995, he was appointed judge of the Suffolk County District Court. He was elected to the District Court and was appointed an Acting Judge of the Suffolk County Court in 1996. He was then elected to the Supreme Court in 1998.[1]
