Paul Charles Weick (1899-1997) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

Judicial career

Northern District of Ohio

Weick was nominated to the Northern District of Ohio by President Dwight Eisenhower on February 27, 1956, to a seat vacated by Emerich Freed; he was confirmed by the Senate on March 28, 1956, and received commission the next day. He served the Northern District of Ohio until he advanced to the Sixth Circuit on October 7, 1959.[1] Weick was succeeded in this position by Girard Kalbfleisch.

Sixth Circuit

Weick was nominated to the Sixth Circuit by President Dwight Eisenhower on August 5, 1959, to a seat vacated by Florence Ellinwood Allen; he was confirmed by the Senate on September 9, 1959, and received commission the next day. He served as chief judge from 1963-1969. He assumed senior status on December 31, 1981, and served in that capacity until his death on May 22, 1997.[1]
