Brent Elliott is a judge for the 43rd Circuit Court in Missouri. He was appointed to the court by Governor Jay Nixon on February 1, 2009, and his current term expires in 2018.[1] [2][3]

Education

Elliott earned his undergraduate degree from Graceland College and his J.D. from the University of Missouri.[4]

Career

Before becoming a circuit judge, Elliott was an associate circuit judge for the 43rd Circuit for nine years. He served as the prosecuting attorney for DeKalb County. He also worked as a municipal court judge for Osborn and Stewartsville in that county. He continues to sit on the municipal bench in Osborn. Elliott was appointed to the bar in 1981.[5][6][1][4]
