Richard Stockton Field (1803-1870) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
He was nominated by President Abraham Lincoln on January 14, 1863. He was confirmed by the Senate on January 14, 1863, and received commission that same day. He resigned on April 25, 1870.[1] Field was succeeded in this position by John Thompson Nixon.
