Robert R. Benson was the Chief Judge of the Minnesota Third Judicial District and serves in Fillmore County, Minnesota. He was elected to this court in 1996 and was re-elected in 2002 and 2008. He retired from this position in March 2013.[1][2]
Education
Benson received his B.A. degree from Augsburg College in 1967 and his J.D. degree from the William Mitchell College of Law in 1971.[1]
Career
Prior to becoming a judge, Robert Benson was an attorney with the firm of Joerg & Benson from 1971 to 1996.[1]
