Robert Jackson Staker (1925-2008) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia.[1]

Staker was nominated by President Jimmy Carter on June 14, 1979, to a new seat created by 92 Stat. 1629; he was confirmed by the Senate on September 11, 1979, and received commission two days later. He assumed senior status on December 31, 1994, and retired on September 30, 2005.[1] Staker was succeeded in this position by Joseph Goodwin.
