Budd ran for re-election to the Clovis Unified Board of Education to represent Trustee Area 1 in California. Budd lost in the general election on November 6, 2018.
Budd was previously known as Sandra A. Bengel.[1][2]
Biography
In addition to serving on the Clovis Unified Board of Education, Budd has been involved with the Jr. League of Fresno, California Women for Agriculture and City of Hope. She earned her bachelor's degree from California State University at Fresno and currently works as a manger at Farmers Insurance.[1][3]

Three seats on the Clovis Unified School District Board of Education were up for general election on November 4, 2014. Incumbents Sandra A. Bengel, Jim Van Volkinburg and Betsy Sandoval from Trustee Areas 1, 3 and 6, respectively, ran unopposed and won re-election by default.
These three incumbents also ran unopposed in 2010.

This election was canceled due to lack of opposition. Incumbents Sandra A. Budd, Jim Van Volkinburg and Betsy Sandoval from Trustee Areas 1, 3 and 6, respectively, won re-election to their seats by default.[2]
Funding
Bengel reported $1,550.00 in contributions and $1,453.50 in expenditures to the Fresno County Registrar of Voters, leaving her campaign with $96.50 as of September 30, 2014.[4]
