Sue McKnight Evans was a judge for the Davidson County General Sessions Court, Division IX in Tennessee. She was elected to this position in 1996. In 1996 and 1997, she served as the presiding judge of the court. Evans was re-elected in 1998 and 2006 and her term on the court ended in 2014.[1][2][3]

Education

Evans received her B.S. degree from the University of Tennessee and her law degree from the Nashville School of Law (1986). She was also awarded by the National Judicial College for her completion of French Civil Law Legal System studies in Paris, France.[2]

Career

Evans was elected to the General Sessions Court in 1996. She was also appointed to the Court of the Judiciary, where she served two terms from 1999 to 2007.[2]
