William Adams Richardson (1821-1896) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Claims.
Richardson was nominated to the Court of Claims by President Ulysses Grant. He was commissioned on June 2, 1874. He was later commissioned as chief justice on January 20, 1885 following an appointment to that position by President Chester Arthur. He served as chief justice until his death on October 19, 1896.[1]
