William James Jameson (1898-1990) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Montana. Jameson was nominated by President Dwight Eisenhower on March 5, 1957, to a seat vacated by Charles Nelson Pray. He was confirmed by the Senate on March 26, 1957, and received his commission on March 28, 1957. From 1965 to 1968, Jameson served as chief judge of the court. He assumed senior status on February 27, 1969 and served until his death on October 8, 1990.[1]

Jameson was nominated by President Dwight Eisenhower on March 5, 1957, to a seat vacated by Judge Charles Nelson Pray. He was confirmed by the Senate on March 26, 1957, and received his commission on March 28, 1957. From 1965 to 1968, Jameson served as the chief judge. He assumed senior status on February 27, 1969 and served until his death on October 8, 1990.[1] Jameson was succeeded in this position by Judge James Battin.
