Ariel Kelley, Council Member | Healdsburg, CA - Official Website
Ariel Kelley was elected to the Healdsburg City Council in 2020. She is the former Chief Executive Officer of local non-profit Corazón Healdsburg, which she co-founded in 2016. Under her leadership, Corazón was awarded non-profit of the year in the California State Assembly. An attorney by training, Ariel has worked in land use, acquisitions, business development and tax law in San Francisco and Silicon Valley and has worked in government relations for major sporting events in the Bay Area. Ariel holds a Juris Doctorate and Master’s in Business Administration from Golden Gate University and B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Oregon.
Recognized as one of North Bay Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 notable young professionals for 2019, Ariel also served for several years on the Sonoma County Planning Commission representing District 4 and was appointed to the Healdsburg Parks and Recreation Commission in 2016. Giving back to the community through volunteerism is critically important to Ariel and she has participated on the board of several local non-profits including the Healthcare Foundation Northern Sonoma County. She was the founder of the Healdsburg Free Store, which distributed goods to those in need after the 2017 Tubbs Fire and established the Healdsburg Kinder2College Fund which provides seed funding and a college savings account for every child in the Healdsburg public schools.
Raised on the McKenzie River, outside of Eugene, Oregon, Ariel is a passionate advocate for clean water and protection of natural resources through preservation, conservation and education. Ariel lives in Healdsburg with her husband, their two kids, a dog and five chickens.
