English: Reigate is a historic market town and former borough that has castle ruins in its heart in Surrey, England at the foot of and partially on the south slopes of the North Downs and which has a railway station and is in the London commuter belt. Reigate and the adjacent town of Redhill have no buffer between several of their streets and form a generally suburban conurbation but each have large commercial town centres. These two centres form the main two commercial areas in today's Borough of Reigate and Banstead.
