English: Vyborg is a town with 80,000 inhabitants at Russia's border to Finland, on the Karelian Isthmus, close to Saint Petersburg. (In English texts Vyborg may also be referred to as Viipuri (Finnish spelling), Viborg (Swedish) and Wiburg (German).)

Svenska: Viborg är en stad, tidigare i Sverige och i Finland, numera i Ryssland på Karelska näset vid Finska viken. I staden bor 78 039 invånare (1 januari 2006). Den präglas mycket av äldre finländsk arkitektur, vilken är sliten och flagnande såsom Alvar Aaltos berömda bibliotek, som dock de senaste åren fått en välbehövlig upprustning. Staden är en omtyckt turistort för finländare.
