English: The end of the river Dese in the Lagoon of Venice. Burano, Torcello and little islands in the North-East of Torcello with meanders of the former river mouths - the river Sile had ended here in former times in an estuary, today called Canale Silone in the section from Portegrandi to Torcello. In the right of the photo saltmarsh Palude Pagliaga. Parts of island Santa Christina are in the left upper corner of the photo (View the annotations in the photo above with cursor).
Palude Pagliaga e Canale Nuovo, Canale Dese, Canale Silone a Torcello.
