- Do you buy the images from Ebay or do you download them from the website? --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk) 01:03, 6 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- Is there a trick to downloading? Chrome browser has right click download disabled. You only have the magnification tool and a screenshot, how do you do it? --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk) 22:50, 6 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Thank you for your efforts to upload and curate images of film stars of the past. However, please note that when a person is dead, we should use the past tense, was, not is. Louis Guss was an actor. He is no longer an actor. John Travolta however is an actor (people who are still alive but no longer acting can be described as "is a former actor" or "is a retired actor"). Also, in English, nationalities are capitalized: "American actor" or "French actor", not "american" or "french". I've fixed these issues on many categories you've created. Please keep these tips in mind, and keep up the good work. Cheers, --Animalparty (talk) 03:52, 12 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Patrick CecilF, I wanted to upload this file on ebay of American actor Lon Chaney Jr., but the problem is that I don't know if it is available for uploading on Commons or if it's copyrighted, so can you check for me please? Kensoup (talk) 18:47, 14 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
- Hello, ''House of Dracula'' is still under copyright and this image too. Patrick CecilF (talk) 15:45, 21 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. This pic you uploaded on commons: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Giulio_Donnini_in_Beat_the_Devil.JPG shows actor Marco Tulli, not Giulio Donnini that was a different actor. Bye 2001:B07:5D37:5AFB:8CBF:16B:1723:DC44 15:16, 10 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
