Bat-Mite is an imp from the 5th dimension who idolizes Batman.
Prime Earth
He made a promise to his parents to rid his city streets of the evil that took their lives.[1] However, he got exiled from the 5th dimension by a Council of Mites for having messed with other worlds too often and Bat-Mite was stuck on Earth.[2]Homeless, he got taken in by Reagan Bennington and Weed, two people he saved from Doctor Trauma, a scientist transplanting brains of older people into the bodies of younger people.[3]
During his time on Earth, Bat-Mite tried to help out various super-heroes like Hawkman, Booster Gold, and Robin, but most of the time, the results were catastrophic.[4]
Because Bat-Mite continued messing with Prime Earth too much, the council of Mites, who were monitoring his actions, eventually decided to bring him back to the 5th dimension. Back in his own world, the council of Mites invited Bat-Mite back to the Justice Mites of America on the condition he stopped messing with other worlds for good. Bat-Mite rapidly accepted the condition. Immediately afterwards, the newly extended team left to fight against Canceltron.[5]

- Space-Time Manipulation: Bat-Mite can alter time and space, if he decides to or not.[6]
- Reality Alteration: Bat-Mite has shown the ability to animate inanimate objects and grant superpowers at will, making reality his for the bending.[7]
- Size Alteration: Bat-Mite can manipulate his own physical size at will. During a battle with Mister Mxyzptlk, Bat-Mite grew to the size of a mountain, towering over the skyscrapers of Metropolis.[8]
- Teleportation: Bat-Mite is able to teleport both himself and other people.[3]

- Bat-Mite was created by Bill Finger and Sheldon Moldoff, first appearing in Detective Comics #267. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Bat-Mite first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Convergence: Supergirl: Matrix #2 by Dan Jurgens and Corin Howell.
