Sixth Dimension
The Sixth Dimension serves as a 'Multiversal Control Room' which stands at the very top of the Multiversal scale.
History
The Sixth Dimension was the first realm of the Multiverse created by Perpetua, one of the “Hands”, and became the Multiverse's control room and highest plane of existence; a realm of the impossible beyond time and the imagination of most living beings.[1] Where the rest of the Multiverse was created and set in motion, and where the Over-Monitor, the Anti-Monitor, and the World Forger reside, also created by Perpetua to manage the various aspects of her new reality.[2] Mister Mxyzptlk described the Sixth Dimension as being beyond comprehension; it would drive all third-dimensional beings insane unless the sixth-dimensional beings allowed them to be on that plane of existence, and even his own non-linear perception could not perceive what would happen there.[3] It's the final realm where everything falls except the truths that were never meant to be seen.[4]
Year of the Villain
Billions of years after Perpetua's imprisonment in the Source Wall and the restart of her Multiverse, a "map" to the Sixth Dimension has been placed in Kendra Saunders' wings that contained some of the Cosmic Raptor's energies. During the events of the Year of the Villain, because the Multiverse was in danger due to the recent destruction of the Source Wall and Perpetua had been freed from her prison, the Justice League traveled there in hopes of finding a way to fight back and repair the Multiverse.
Initially thinking that the map on Kendra Saunders' wings pointed to the Fifth Dimension, they asked Mister Mxyzptlk for answers, but he told them that the map did not point to the Fifth Dimension, but to the Sixth Dimension. He went on to say that none of them could normally venture there without going insane, except Superman, because, unbeknownst to Superman, he had infused him with the energy of the Fifth Dimension to prepare him for this moment.[5]
Mister Mxyzptlk explained that the Sixth Dimension is usually impossible to access for a lesser being unless the Multiverse is threatened, such as a breach in the Source Wall, which allowed him to create a portal to the Sixth Dimension using much of his energy so that Superman could enter there, and when Superman ventured into Mister Mxyzptlk's portal to the Sixth Dimension, Batman was unsure whether Superman would be absent for months, years, or decades as they were dealing with a realm outside of time.[6]

Notes
- The Sixth Dimension was first introduced in the Pre-Flashpoint continuity in JLA #52 with the Cathexis. In the Post-Flashpoint continuity, the representation of the Sixth Dimension has become ambiguous over the years:
- During the events of The Sixth Dimension storyline, it was shown to be first realm of the Multiverse created by Perpetua: a "control room" beyond time and imagination, which is also the residence of the Brothers Three, closed off to all lesser beings.[7]
- In recent years, the Sixth Dimension has also been described similarly to Hypertime, a higher-dimensional realm where all of time exists at once and contains everything that was, is, or can be; Doom-Mite was shown to be hailing from this dimension and Bat-Mite was also able to journey here.[8][9]
- However, this representation of the realm and the Bat-Mite's journey (with Batman and Superman) contradict the events of The Sixth Dimension and could just be continuity errors.
- The "Fifth Dimension" and the "Sixth Dimension" are not literal spatiotemporal dimensions, but are planes of existence: The former deals with imagination and flows between all the realms of the Multiverse; The latter deals with the impossible and sits at the top of everything in the Multiverse.
