Alps
The Alps are a mountain range in Europe that stretches across eight Alpine countries: France, Switzerland, Monaco, Italy, Liechtenstein, Austria, Germany and Slovenia.

World War I[]
During the 1910s, World War I led to the division of Europe throughout No Man's Land, which was expanded from Belgium to the Alps.[1]
