These studies deal with HawaiianHedyotis andGouldia, and withCoprosma in Juan Fernández. The speciesCoprosma oliveri is described as new, as isGouldia terminalis (Hook. & Arn.) Hillebr. var.pubistipula, and three forms ofHedyotis acuminata (Cham. & Schlecht.) Steud.
