On 26th September 2006, the pilots of Swiss European Air Lines went on a 24h warning strike, as the management had still not obeyed a court order from 2003 concerning equal pay for equal work.

Lufthansa placed an order on April 17, 2007 for 30 Embraer E-190 and 15 Bombardier CRJ-900 aircraft to directly replace its fleet of BAe 146 and Avro RJ aircraft, of which 18 are operated by Lufthansa CityLine and 20 by Swiss European Air Lines. Accidents and Incidents
*On 18 August 2007 an Avro RJ100 aircraft made a hard landing at London City Airport on a regular scheduled flight from Geneva.
