Ivica Dačić
Ivica Dačić ( _sr. Ивица Дачић) (born January 1, 1966, Prizren, SR Serbia, Yugoslavia) is a Serbian politician. He is the leader of Socialist Party of Serbia. He is the current First Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia and Minister of the Interior.
Ivica Dačić was a presidential candidate in the Serbian presidential election, 2004 for the Socialist Party of Serbia where he finished 5th with 112,405 votes.
In reaction to the 2008 declaration of Kosovo independence, Dačić said he would call for a ban on all political parties and non-governmental organizations in Serbia which recognize Kosovo’s independence. He singled out in particular the human-rights activist Nataša Kandić.
