He has had many parts in both television and film. He played the Doctor in "Doctor Who and the Daleks in the Seven Keys to Doomsday" (1974) – a stage play at the Adelphi Theatre London based on the BBC science fiction television series "Doctor Who" – a role he will reprise a 2008 audio adaptation of the play from Big Finish Productions.cite web|url=http://www.bigfinish.com/news/Trevor-Martin-is-The-Doctor|title=Trevor Martin is The Doctor|date=2008-07-25|work=Big Finish News|publisher=Big Finish Productions|accessdate=2008-07-26] He had previously appeared in the show itself as a Time Lord in the serial "The War Games" (1969) and later guested in the 1993 Doctor Who radio play The Paradise of Death alongside Jon Pertwee and the 2003 drama "Flip-Flop" alongside Sylvester McCoy. He also provided the voice for the villainous antagonist The Beast in the 1983 science fantasy movie "Krull".
Other television appearances include "Jackanory", "Z Cars", "Coronation Street" and "The Bill".
