homepage =WFPA-CA is a low power television station that broadcasts TeleFutura programs in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, broadcasting on channel 28. The station is owned and operated by Univision.
The station was originally a repeater of New York City's Univision station, WXTV, until 2002, when Univision acquired WUVP channel 65, and moved the affiliation there. At that point, channel 28 picked up the affiliation of the then-new TeleFutura network, and was re-called "WFPA-CA".
In June 2006, the station was added to Philadelphia area Comcast systems on Channel 251. The station is also carried on WUVP-TV's Digital channel 66.2.
Trivia
In some areas of the market, especially north of Philadelphia, WFPA's signal causes some reception issues with the DTV signal of New York's WNBC-TV, which broadcasts its digital signal on channel 28.
