William Herbert Gray III (August 20, 1941 – July 1, 2013) was an American politician and member of the Democratic Party who represented from 1979 to 1991. Chaka Fattah and William H. Gray III are 20th-century African-American politicians, 21st-century African-American politicians, African-American members of the United States House of Representatives, Democratic Party members of the United States House of Representatives from Pennsylvania and politicians from Philadelphia.
