Ferenc Faludi (born in Güssing on 11 April 1704; died in Rechnitz on 18 December 1779) was a Hungarian poet who has been referred to as "the father of the new Hungarian lyric." Because of Suppression of the Society of Jesus he switched to being in charge of a poorhouse.[1]

Suppression of the Society of Jesus

The suppression of the Society of Jesus was the removal of all members of the Jesuits from most of Western Europe and their respective colonies beginning in 1759 along with the abolition of the order by the Holy See in 1773; the papacy acceded to said anti-Jesuit demands without much resistance.
