Dermatomyositis
Dermatomyositis (DM) is a long-term inflammatory disorder which affects the skin and the muscles. Gottron's sign and Dermatomyositis are autoimmune diseases, Connective tissue diseases, Idiopathic diseases, Steroid-responsive inflammatory conditions and systemic connective tissue disorders.

Erythema
Erythema is redness of the skin or mucous membranes, caused by hyperemia (increased blood flow) in superficial capillaries.
See Gottron's sign and Erythema
Granuloma annulare
Granuloma annulare (GA) is a rare, sometimes chronic skin condition which presents as reddish bumps on the skin arranged in a circle or ring.

Lupus
Lupus, technically known as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), is an autoimmune disease in which the body's immune system mistakenly attacks healthy tissue in many parts of the body. Gottron's sign and lupus are autoimmune diseases, Steroid-responsive inflammatory conditions and systemic connective tissue disorders.
Mucin
Mucins are a family of high molecular weight, heavily glycosylated proteins (glycoconjugates) produced by epithelial tissues in most animals.
Pathognomonic
Pathognomonic (rare synonym pathognomic) is a term, often used in medicine, that means "characteristic for a particular disease".
