Fish scale
A fish scale is a small rigid plate that grows out of the skin of a fish.

Genus
Genus (genera) is a taxonomic rank above species and below family as used in the biological classification of living and fossil organisms as well as viruses.
Griphognathus whitei
Griphognathus whitei is an extinct species of lungfish from the late Devonian period of Europe and Australia. Griphognathus and Griphognathus whitei are Devonian bony fish, late Devonian animals, late Devonian fish and Prehistoric lobe-finned fish stubs.

Lungfish
Lungfish are freshwater vertebrates belonging to the class Dipnoi.

Palate
The palate is the roof of the mouth in humans and other mammals.
Scale (zoology)
In zoology, a scale (lepís; squāma) is a small rigid plate that grows out of an animal's skin to provide protection.
