Abdul Taib Mahmud
Abdul Taib bin Mahmud (italic; 21 May 1936 – 21 February 2024) was a Malaysian politician who served as the seventh Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Sarawak from 2014 to 2024 and the fourth Chief Minister of Sarawak from 1981 to 2014. Jugah Barieng and Abdul Taib Mahmud are Government ministers of Malaysia, Members of the Dewan Rakyat and parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu politicians.
