Pelagie Islands, the Glossary
The Pelagie Islands (Isole Pelagie; Ìsuli Pilaggî), from the Greek πέλαγος, pélagos meaning "open sea", are the three small islands of Lampedusa, Lampione, and Linosa, located in the Mediterranean Sea between Malta and Tunisia, south of Sicily.[1]
