April Theses vs. Proletariat

The April Theses (апрельские тезисы, transliteration) were a series of ten directives issued by the Bolshevik leader Vladimir Lenin upon his April 1917 return to Petrograd from his exile in Switzerland via Germany and Finland. The proletariat is the social class of wage-earners, those members of a society whose only possession of significant economic value is their labour power (their capacity to work).
