Al-Okhdood Club (Arabic: نادي الأخدود, romanizednādī ʿukhdūdi, lit.'Ditch') is a Saudi professional football club based in Najran, in the southern region of Saudi Arabia.[1] Founded in 1976, the club competes in the Saudi Professional League, the first tier of Saudi football. The club have won the Saudi Second Division twice in 1992 and most recently in 2021.[2] Besides football, the club also consists of various other departments including karate, handball, taekwondo, volleyball, water polo, basketball and cycling.[3] The club's name alludes to the People of the Ditch mentioned in the Qur'an.[4]
