(Andy Fitzsimon, one of the authors who redrew the logo basing on the former version, claimed the full authorship and the license to be CC-by-sa 2.0 in the source code. However, it might not be valid since the former version (Inkscape.logo.svg) might be under GPL, which means any derivative work should be under GPL-compatible licenses. Besides, the current official logo (Inkscape Logo.svg, based on this version) removed the claim by Andy Fitzsimon in the source code.)
