Tam Điệp is a city of Ninh Bình Province in the Red River Delta region of Vietnam.
Its name Tam Điệp means "the three peaks", which is indicated with the large limestone mountain with five peaks (3 tall and 2 low) in the city center.
Tam Điệp City was established on 11 May 2015. As of 2015 it had a population of 104,175.[1] The city covers an area of 105 km².[1]
