Hi, I'm QwertyForest. I mostly go around doing random clean-up, such as reverting vandalism. If you are concerned that I look like a sockpuppet, this discussion on my talk page may help clear things up. Hope you are doing well!
Due to this discussion, I will be taking additional precautions to protect myself and others:
- I will add warnings to talk threads that contain suspicious external links.
- When welcoming people, particulary those who appear to be possible targets, I will warn them about the risks that they may face and who to contact about suspicious users.
- Since the above activities may make me a target, I will not open new external links without a VPN. I am willing to report users who appear to be putting me or others at risk (e.g. grooming).
- Over time, I may come up wih other protective measures and may compile them into an essay.
