Hey I have edited pages and published them and it still says i have 0 edits why is this --101FactChecker (talk) 16:57, 24 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

If you look at Special:Contributions/101FactChecker, you'll be able to see a record of all the edits you've made with your account. The edit history for your account can be found here; it shows you've made two edits since you're account was created on February 10, 2025. Is it possible that you were editing using another account or as an unregistered IP account before that day? If so, those edits will not show up in the editing history of this particular account. -- Marchjuly (talk) 11:53, 26 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I am the creator and copyright holder of this media which are photographs from a personal album owned by me and the copyright retained by me. You need to remove this tag immediately. It is completely incorrect to assert that these images were taken from a publication or online. These are private images created and belonging to me because the subject matter in question is related. Again, the points outlined on being taken from a publication or online (when I am the holder of the original images and these can only be used online with my permission) are baseless. Physical possession of a photo isn't the same as owning the copyright of the photo; if, however, you did take these photos yourself, then all you need to do is to send a WP:CONSENT email to Wikimedia VRT for verification purposes. There's no information about the provenances of these photos, and they certainly couldn't have been taken on the dates you listed in their file descriptions; so, the more information you can provide about them, the easier it will be to sort them out. FWIW, they are of such poor quality that they do look like scans of an old newspaper or some other type of print publication. Since you say that's not the case, all you need to do is to verify that you're the copyright holder of the photos with Wikimedia VRT. -- Marchjuly (talk)

Hi User:Marchjuly: I was going to post an edit request to the Alexa Meade talk page, but I see that the ‘Add Topic’ selection is not available. Does it have to do with the COI banner on the page? Does this mean I am no longer able to post requested edits on the talk page? Any guidance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. If I have been blocked in some way, I would like to do whatever is needed to remedy any unintentional mistakes I may have made to cause this situation. @Kerrytiareeree: The additional of that template shouldn't cause such a thing to happen. I don't have a COI, but I also don't see a "New Section" tab at the time of the page; however, when I click on "Edit" the tab oddly reappears at the top of the editing window that opens and works fine. I checked some other article talk pages where COI templates are being used, but they seem fine. Maybe try asking about this at WP:VPT since someone there probably can figure it out. -- Marchjuly (talk) 11:53, 1 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
