WKAD features programming from Fox Sports Radio. WKAD carries the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Red Wings, Michigan Wolverines Football and Basketball, and Cadillac Viking Sports.
On January 2, 2012 WKAD changed formats from oldies to sports, branded as "The Ticket".
